You'll need to hike (or bike or ride your horse) to get to this one (three-star terrain, here we come), but the views can be worth it. Bring water. Bring boots. Bring a compass. Walk the boardwalk and climb the tower, if you aren't a 'fraidy cat.
The park requires a $3.00 fee to enter (last I checked).
This is an offset cache (thus the three-star difficulty). It is not located at the above coordinates (although it's very nearby). Locate the survey marker. The cache is located 140 feet, 150° from magnetic north from the survey marker. If you are uncertain what that mumbo jumbo means, email me. It's very simple and is a good exercise for using a compass.
Note: You must find the cache container and sign the logbook to log this as a find.
The cache is hidden out of sight, you'll have to do some poking around. Please replace it so it is out of sight.
This cache was originally placed by lpsweers, and has been maintained and adopted by JamieZ.
