4 miles North of freeway at the Thompson Spring exit off of I 70.
At a location of about 150 feet above parking area. Be sure to see
the Freemont and Ute Indian rock art nearby!
Take Thompson Springs Exit off I 70. Follow pavement north through
town. Cross railroad tracks and continue up paved road 3.1 miles to
a viewing area of Ute and Freemont Rock Art. Cross road and wash.
You will need to climb a total of 168 vertical feet above wash to
the East. Rocks and ground can prove to be loose so watch your
footing! Cache is a white 2 gallon bucket with a lid hitten in a
crag of rocks at the top of the hill. Enjoy!!!
