Geocache Description:

Virtual cache in Italian Riviera.

The cache is now missing so I have changed this to a virtual cache. To claim credit, email the answer to this question: "How many boards are used to make the wooden bridge?" (In Oct 2008 I changed the question from "What color is the horizontal cross-beam holding up the cable ride?" because the cable ride is no longer there.)

My family and I spent three weeks visiting Italy in May 2002. We saw many famous things; the David, the Vatican, etc. but this location was my 6 and 4 year old children’s favorite spot in all of Italy. (I created a virtual cache at my favorite spot, Californians Invade Italian Riviera cache.)

There is a photo of the general area on this cache page, but if you want more mystery don’t look at the photo. These types of places are god-sends to the traveling parents, but they are never listed in the tourism books.

The cache was a small red Pringles potato chip can. Initial contents were three US$1 dollar bills, logbook, and pencil. This spot wasn’t too busy when we were their during ‘shoulder season’ but I’m sure it can be very busy during the tourism season. If it is too busy to get the cache without attracting attention, feel free to post a find here without signing the actual logbook.
