Warning

Please note: To use the services of geocaching.com, you must agree to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

This is a multi-leg virtual cache. The published cache coordinates are just to get you in the general vicinity. I've shamelessly used my grandparents and other nearby relatives to supply information for the coordinates to the next leg of the cache.
You should plan on spending a little time here because most citizens of this area find these sites to be worthwhile and of great interest.

The SECOND and THIRD legs of this virtual cache are a couple of spots that are very much worth your time to see.

The coordinates of the SECOND leg of this cache are: N 40° 23.ABC W 111° 47.DEF

To get the last three digits of each coordinate for the SECOND leg, find the following information from the area surrounding the FIRST leg:
A - The month E. Lourene Webb was born.
B - The last digit of the year George H. Webb was born.
C - The month Mary E. Spratley Webb was born.

D - The second digit of the year H. Alfred Hansen was born.
E - The second digit of the day Millie E. Steele was born.
F - The month of John H. Webb's wedding.

The coordinates of the THIRD leg of this cache are: N 40° GH.IJK W 111° LM.NOP

For the last five digits of each coordinate of the THIRD leg, find the following information from the location of the SECOND leg:
G - The last digit of the year Ned Veater's mother was born.
H - The month Ned Veater was born.
.
I - The first digit of Ned Veater's Chaplain Post number.
J - The last digit of the year the United States Army was founded.
K - The list position of Dean T. Archibald.

L - The number of women depicted wearing a hat.
M - The last digit of the year the United States Air Force was founded.
.
N - The last digit of the year Percy Webb was born.
O - The first digit of Bud Herbert's Post number.
P - The second digit of the year the United States Coast Guard was founded.

IMPORTANT:To claim credit for finding this cache, log your visit without divulging any important information.
Then you need to send me either:
1) a description of the SECOND and THIRD legs of this cache, OR
2) a photo of the THIRD leg of the cache. Email photos to SirGerald1.
If I don't receive this confirmation within a reasonable amount of time, I'll have to delete your visit log.

For Extra Credit:Tell me WHO PLAYED ON AMERICAN FORK'S CRICKET TEAM.

Even though you can probably guess the nature of the SECOND leg from the clues to the THIRD leg, I don't want to give away too much information now because I believe you will appreciate the discovery of these sites as much as I did.

By the way, don't miss the small garden and monument just a few feet south and down the hill from the THIRD leg of this cache. Sit a moment, listen to the water babbling nearby and relax for a moment before returning to the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Grabbed the info at the first stage easily enough and plugged into the gps. Off to the second only to be driven away by confusion and a driving wind. Perhaps I shall return, or not........
