And the nomadic Magellanites wandered northeast to the unnamed lands, following the River Droonkenbie. As they went, they built tall structures to their gods for guidance. Prayer services were conducted kneeling on the ground under the structure, facing their homeland. They would raise their faces to their gods and pray that the location of a sanctuary would be revealed. When they reached a sanctuary, they would hope to find three monks praying together, guarding a sacred chalice. Some said the chalice would be filled with water from the holy springs of Garminy, others said it would be encrusted with jewels from Lowrancia or the Waaslands. But once the chalice was found, the Magellanites could finally settle down and end their years of wandering (but they would still have to bring their own pencils).
