Located at a beautiful spot along the North Fork of the Flambeau River
My son and I hid this during a river canoe trip. It's at the river campsite called Cedar Rapids. If you canoe in, the cache is easily accessible along the river. If you hike, the nearest place to park is about 1 mile away at a gate to the service road: N45 38.568 / W90 51.012. When you come to a fork in the service road at N45 38.161 / W90 51.016 hike the right fork and continue to the campsite. You'll know you're getting close when you hear the roar of the rapids. The container is a white plastic bottle 5 inches tall and 2.5 inches wide. It contains a few small trinkets and a combination geocaching.com form and log sheet. I originally had a small pencil along but I lost it near the location, so please bring your own pencil or pen to sign the log. During the summer there may be canoeists camping at the site so be discreet as you search for the cache.
