This virtual cache is located on High St. in Historic Mt. Holly, NJ. This was featured in the #20 issue of WNJ on page 48/49, check out the magazine and read all about it!!
This virtual cache is the home of "Historic Burlington County Prison Museum". It is located on a busy downtown street of Historic Mt. Holly, surrounded by lawyer offices. Hince the name of this cache. Visting hours are:Thursday - Sat. 10am to 4pmSunday noon to 4pmLast Tours begin @ 3:30 pm.You do not need to take a tour inorder to log this as a find. The answers to the following questions are from the blue sign in front of the prison it's self and in the brocheure that they have for you to take on it!! So take one to answer ?'s from and take a tour. I was there on a day it was not open but i will be back to take a tour. I wonder if this place is haunted!!??!!Here are the questions to log this as a find!! 1. Who was this designed by? 2. What year was it completed in? 3. What year was it last in use? 4. How much did this cost to build? 5. What year was the only notable escape? 6. How many tried to escape? 7. How many did but might have been caught? 8. What were the 2 names of the last 2 people hanged? 9. How many prisoners was this originally to hold? 10. How many were held after they moved location? 11. What did they call the maximum-security cell? 12. What is the name of the ghost who haunts this place? 13. What year did they stop making the prisoners from preparing there own food? I know that is alot of ?'s but it should only take you 10 mintes to answer all.. u must answer all and get 11 correct inorder to log this as a find and keep it. Please email us the answers and we will get back to you, if they stay or if they must be deleted!! The reason for so much ?'s. This is a great place full of history and many might enjoy reading this you might even learn the answers to some or maybe even all the ?'s on the tour. But this was an easy walk right up to.. we wanted you to have to learn a bit for this one!! HeeHee!! Trust me a 6 yr old who can read could find all the answers its not hard!!
