Geocache Description:

This cache is located near a seldom visited World War I Memorial monument. Unfortunately, it's almost forgotten. Hopefully we can pick up the traffic a little!

The cache is a plastic container filled with lots of items including some information sheets on the monument. It is fairly easy to find, but needs to be uncovered with discretion to avoid being observed. Please hide it well as this is close to a school and might be stumbled upon. Thanks for the cooperation of the Rosedale Development Association and for permission by the Wyandotte County Parks Department for allowing me to place this and other caches in the future.

This area could use help with some cleanup. Let’s push the ‘Cache In, Trash Out’ motto to a new limit! If you will send me a digital photo of the trash you pick up at this park, I will send you the coordinates to Bonus Cache via Trash (link) , which includes many VERY cool goodies. I didn’t supply trash bags, so bring your own!

Initials cache contents include:

o The Geocache logbook, extra baggies, some pens & pencils and instructions
o WWI Memorial information sheets (please let me know if you take the last one)
o Misc fun stuff including a glider, CD, flashlight, golf tees and more.
