Geocache Description:

It appears that this cache has been lost to the construction of a water distribution tank. I would like to move it and will check to see if anyone associated with the construction has the old one. For now I guess you won't find it. This stash is located in the Carolina Hill Conservation Area of Marshfield. There are a number of approaches. I will give Waypoints for parking. The two more difficult approaches are from the west and south ends of the area. Their coordinates are as follows

42-06.989 070-44.159, 42-07.164 070-42.746 (these coordinates were scaled and are intended to get you in the area).

A more gentle approach is from the Eames Way School 42-07.902 070-43.734. I would rate the later as a 1 and the other two as a 1.5.

OK now the info. The stash is located at the base of a very large Scrub Pine. Not to be confused with it’s neighboring White Pines. In the plastic screw top container you will find the following a pen, pencil, log book, lizard key thing, wood and string puzzle, 1986 map of Marshfield Conservation areas, camera (and I hope you will take your picture and leave the camera), an original piece of art work on birch bark, a sun window ornament, a moose, and a shell.

I hope you enjoy the walk in and I highly recommend either of the first two approaches!!!

The photos from the first two rolls of film can be seen at http://k1tjs.com/ if you find yours please email me and I will put a label on your photo!
