The listed coordinates are not the
location that you need to go to!
As of June 2003, RandMan has graciously volunteered to look
after the cache. Please direct any "You sure it's still there?"
questions his way.
The final cache area, not necessarily the location itself, is
wheelchair accessible for a healthy active person. If you choose
not to discover the answers to the Star Wars questions, each of the
locations you need to visit should be wheelchair accessible for
anyone. All of the above locations are located in a Chandler
park. The hours are from 6:00 A.M. to 10:30 P.M.
Please do not place used tennis or golf
balls or "adult" items in the cache. While in the
area, you may want to visit Roadrunners Revenge: Net
Serve (GC64AA) and But it's a Xeroheat!
(GCHZDR).
If you choose to answer the Star Wars questions:
- What is the number of Padawans that Qui-Gon Jin trained? This
gives you value A.
- How many Jedi are members of the High Council? This gives you
value B.
- How many Battle Droids can be carried by an MTT? This gives you
value C.
- How many riders are carried by a Bongo in the Phantom Menace?
This gives you value D.
If you choose not to answer the Star Wars questions, you must
visit four locations:
- Go to N 33° 18.562 — W 111° 52.131 and look for The
Chandler City Code, Chapter number. Use the first number in the
chapter number as value A.
- Go to N 33° 18.572 — W 111° 52.119 and look for a set of
six faded ½ inch black numbers, where two numbers are repeated
three times. For example 676767. These two numbers are value B (The
example would make Value B = 67). (HINTS: Look for the number 2 on
concrete platform, and look for "O.Z./GEDNEY.")
- Go to N 33° 18.538 — W 111° 52.017 and discover the
cost, in cents, for an adult. Subtract 38 from this amount. This
number becomes Value C.
- Go to N 33° 18.577 — W 111° 52.029 and find a single
blue-colored 7 inch digit. Not one digit out of several together;
you want a single number. That number is value D.
Once you have the numbers, you need to find the location for
the cache.
- Take value A and multiply by value B. Multiply the result times
10. Add the answer to the .121 in the North coordinates.
- Take value C and add value D. Subtract the answer from the .206
in the West coordinates.
