Geocache Description:

The D-Day cache is located in the area where a lot of people dedicated their lifes for freedom and justice. It is one of the places where the Normandy Landings began.

Symbolically this Cache has the same character as The Bridge at Remagen Cache in Germany

While there are those celebrations for the D-Day anniversary the cache is not longer there for security purpose!
To log it while it's gone take a picture of yourself AND your GPSR in front of that historic landscape and submit it with your log.

Later next summer we will replace the real cachebox.
