An easy cache in the Berkeley hills.
This area is occasionally used by park maintenance workers, so
be discreet when retrieving and re-hiding. The cache is a
transparent green lexan Nalgene jar with a brown top, 4" deep by
2.5" in diameter. A photo of the jar in situ might give away
the hiding place, so I've only provided a photo of the jar before
hiding. Initial contents:
- Geocaching info sheet.
- A notepad and three pencils, to log your visit.
- A pencil sharpener.
- A metallic-scarlet mini-carabiner.
- A metallic-green keyfob
- A WWF (World Wildlife Fund, not the wrestling one) keyfob.
- Assorted coins and tokens.
The jar is not large, so bring small things to trade. Stay
out of the brush! There's just poison oak in there, no
caches.

January 23 by Dalvey (99 found) After a day mostly spent searching for letterboxes, several of which seem to have long since disappeared, decided to attempt one geocache in the evening before dusk...hoping for my 75th geocache find. Decided on Klandvia since it was nearby. Poked around a lot and was just about to give up when I found it. Coordinates were spot on...I didn't have to broaden the search to 20-30 feet away as I'd been first thinking. I am curious too what Klandvia means, but apparently it's a good name for something, because a Google search of "Klandvia" only gives results related to this geocache! Other Tilden caches still await....

January 18 by riobrl (109 found) DNF. Coordinates led me right to the "monument" but I struck out after much searching of everything within 15 feet. Light was fading, I was probably getting tired after lots of up and down all over Tilden today.

November 7, 2009 by Gealabhan (941 found) Gwapogreg and I knew that we were hot on the scent because of seeing some trackables nearby but it was Mr. G who pulled it out from its hidey hole. Still don't understand the title but am glad to have a smiley face for this one.
