This is a standard virtual in the heart of Madras, OR. A good chance to grab a cache and learn a bit about our community.
If ever there were a spot along the highway to stop and stretch a bit this is it. This little turnout goes unnoticed through most of the year but on the 3rd weekend of every May it is the center of Madras's Collage of Culture. The cache is focused on two commemorative type displays. You will need to e-mail Kelly's Heroes with the correct responses to two questions to avoid having your log deleted. In addition, please avoid posting the answers in your log as that would result in deletion as well.
1. What is the name of Madras's sister city in Japan?
2. Find the bricks in front of the war memorial. The second brick from the left in the top row is a message to you. What does it say?
