Geocache Description:

Well I finally got it planted.

Ok this one is named after a friend of mine who has been feeding me cool NASA bits for a while now. When I told him about Geocaching he really pulled out the stops and gave me enough stuff to build this cache.

Ok this is going to be a bit tough. The rating, I think in the winter with will be a 2 now (Late Summer) with the weeds fully grown its a 2.5 or so.

I parked on Inlet RD off of Wiehle Dr. You have to cross a busy road from here. So no kids. If you have kids park on Northshore Dr near the Bike Path Bridge. From Inlet Rd its .20 miles to the cache most of which is very easy walking. The exception is the rather steep hill down and the meadow crossing. You should not have to cross any streams on the hunt, you MIGHT get muddy if there has been some rain. The meadow has weeds about chest high on me, so look for the path of least resistance, brute forcing it, is not the answer. ( There is a way across the meadow you just have to find it )

Past the meadow you back into woods and easy hiking. I found a blue blazed trail I have no idea what its for yet. Explore it and post about it.

People with off road strollers - You can gain access via the bike path off Northshore Dr. I have no idea how much further the hike is from that point but it will get you into the area and if you can lift the stroler over a small run off, you should have no big problems getting to the cache site.

The cache is completly consealed from view, and very well hidden. I went back 3 differnt times and I was within 19ft 14ft and 22ft with my Garmin GPS ///+ and I had great satalite coverage. I didn't see much Ivy but if your crossing the meadow wear long pants.

Cache Contents : Green Ammo Can -

Rite in the Rain Log book and Pen & GeoNotes
    Several NASA Hat Pins
Lots of NASA Shuttle Mission Stickers - STS-112,111,102,101,105,108,112/9a,110,109
    A few IIS Expedition Stickers - 2,3,4
    Myrtle the Turtle TB
    Extra Baggies
    First & Second finders prizes
I would like to keep this Space based but I am not that worried about it. Please only take one sticker or pin so they will last a bit longer.

Have Fun and Enjoy the hike !
