NOTE: This is a locationless geocache. There is no box box here. Instead, your quest will be to find an outdoor, full-figure statue of a U.S. President, note the coordinates and share a photo in your log report.
Some of the best figure sculptures on view to the public across our country are statues of past U.S. Presidents. The example I used here as a model for your quest is one of Abraham Lincoln. He sits quietly between the Maxwell School of Citizenship & Public Affairs and the Tolley Administration Building on the Syracuse University campus. Click here to learn about the history of the

"Washington was joined by the statue of Lincoln in the Maxwell courtyard in late 1968, when sculptor James Earle Fraser’s cast of Abraham Lincoln was installed on the lawn in front of Maxwell Hall. Lowered into place by a 50-foot crane, the 2,770-pound bronze statue became is a monument to the legacy of the 16th president and one of the most popular landmarks on the Syracuse University campus.
Here are the rules to log this locationless geocache:
1. Use your GPS receiver to mark the location of an outdoor statue of a U.S. President. It must be a full-figure statue, and not a bust or a head. Extra points awarded if it's not Abraham Lincoln. We've already got plenty of Lincoln statues! The usual locationless cache rules apply: one find per player, and each location can be logged only once.
2. Take a photo of the sculpture that shows you and your GPS receiver. Additional photos showing the surroundings will add interest to your report, but are not required.
3.Submit a log report that includes the coordinates of your President's location and some information about the statue. If you can find a website about it, please include a link, too. Then immediately upload the required confirmation photo to log this cache as found. All photos must be originals, and logs without GPS photos will be deleted.
