This is a seven part multi-cache. It is located in Orchard Hill Memory Gardens at Yawkey, WV and is Lincoln County’s first Geocache. The cemetery is open during daylight hours. I fell in love with this cemetery the first time I saw it and ended up buying our lots here. As my husband always said, “People are dying to get in.”
This cache will be great for new cachers learning to use a GPS. You won’t have trees in the way, so you should get good signals. It’s also a good one because you don’t have to worry about tromping through the brush and getting your legs all scratched up.
The cache is in a plastic water bottle, so items for trade need to be small. The original contents are:
*Sacagawea Dollar
*Teddy Bear Angel
*2 AA batteries (for emergency use)
*Lanyard and whistle
*Homemade puzzle (can you get both balls on to the same side and then back again?)
*Earrings
*Monopoly key chain
You will need to make a copy of this page to keep track of the answers that will point you to the next location. Fill in the blanks and substitute the numbers in the proper places for the next location. I’ve been out to the cemetery 3 different times using both a Magellan 315 and a Magellan 330 to average the coordinates. Please let me know if any of the locations are way off.
