Cadillac Mountain is the highest point on the east coast of the U.S. and offers a 360 degree of Mount Desert Island. This site is easily accessible by car. The Park Service doesn't permit real caches on park land; hence the vistual cache.
To confirm your visit, please find the sign at the start of the North Ridge Trail. It has a plaque on it that states:
"This trailhead sign was donated in honor of E. Robert Kinney by his children on the occasion of his XXth birthday."
