My sweetie has been wanting to put out a cache for a long time so on this trip to Los Angeles we decided to put this easy cache out for your enjoyment
This cache is at Union Station, hence the name. It is a 35 mm film canister I have been meaning to set out for awhile. It is filled with foreign coins and nothing else. I expect it will not last long since it is in a very public place and I am sure the groundskeepers will find it and remove it. So enjoy it while you can. You can drive to this cache but the parking is $2.00 for 20 minutes and the best way to arrive here is by train on the Metrorail or of course Amtrak, as long as they are still running . You will need to read the clue to find this cache because even when your there you will not be able to see it.
Initial contents are;
Mexican 50 centavos
2-1 Mexican pesos
Mexican 2 peso
Mexican 5 peso
Philipine 1 Piso
French, 1 franc, 1/2 franc, 5 franc
Belgium 5 franc
German 5 Pfennig
New Zealand 2 pence and 5 pence
1 silver unknown coin
Car wash token from Wyoming...just for giggles
