Geocache Description:

"Cache seekers (hold harmless the cache owner) and assumes all risks and responsibilities involved in seeking this cache." The decisions you make and actions you take are yours!

If you're looking for the biggest bang for your buck, it's Mt. Pilchuck. Spectacular views can be seen from the top of a sharp peak in about two hours of hiking. There's a lookout built by the Mountaineers at the top so you can get out of the wind or sun. The cache is located about halfway along the trail before the trail turns toward the dark side. The present cache location at 4,022 feet offers great views of Mt. Baker and Everett and the Sound and is often the last place you can hike before the snow stops the regular-shoe bound adventurer in the non-summer months.

The cache is a green metal ammo box with a good sealing lid. It's not far from the trail and satellite coverage is good. To get to the trailhead, you take the Mountain Loop Highway out of Granite Falls and take the first right turn after the bridge that comes just after the Ranger Station.
