Located near a former USAF Pinetree Line Early Warning Radar Site, the present CFB Gander. This Cold War era base was code named "Crystal" and operated by the 226th Airborne Control and Warning Squadron (ACWRON). The base is a close to Gander International Airport.
The cache is a clear ice cream container and is located just off a trail behind the base. Use caution when you get to within 200 feet of the cache as there is scraps of aircraft aluminum and metal in the area. Not recommended for kids unless accompanied by an adult.
