Geocache Description:

Located in a nice little regional park in the Beltsville area. The trails here are in pretty good shape but this area could get pretty muddy after a good rain. Parking shouldn't be a problem.

The biggest issue with this cache is finding the park itself. It gives GPS routing devices fits. I've added a number of way points that should help a bit. If not, I recommend coming in via POWDER MILL ROAD, turning on to CAVERLY AVENUE, and making the first right. Go to the end of KENNY ST, and make right onto MONTGOMERY ROAD. Please park at the designated coordinates and not along the road leading to them; you may get a ticket. The new coordinates are based on more than 600 averages. IF YOU FOUND THIS CACHE BEFORE 2-11-2007, YOU CAN FIND IT AGAIN AND GET CREDIT FOR IT DUE TO THE NEW COORDINATES.

From the original cache owner: I realized that I have quite a few nice little parks close to work. I figured I could take the time on a lunch break or two to stash some cache's nearby. I hid this one with Kamilo (a friend from work). He actually was the one that recommended this location. It's about 1/4 mile from the main parking lot to the cache. I was told this is a popular spot for local mountain bikers so keep a look out for them while on the trails. The trails are pretty narrow and most Mountain Bikers would probably consider them single track.
The cache is a medium sized Tupperware container with a white lid.

FYI The tree cover was pretty dense back there in spots.

Also a special thanks to Harry who had originally brought potato salad over to my house in what has now become the cache container.
