Please try to do during daylight hours (dawn to dusk) for respect
of the preserve and your safety. This area is an old
quarrying area with lots of little rock mounds and divots, and we
don't want anyone getting hurt and we want folks to respect the
preserve owners BTLT (Brunswick-Topsham Land Trust) and the
Highlands. Night time activity could and does look suspicious
in today's world.

Here is another Cathance River
Nature Preserve for all to enjoy. This cache is placed on one of our favorite trails in the
preserve, Beaver Loop Trail. We hope that you take the time to walk
around the preserve and take in all the sites and sounds that it
has to offer. We spotted a mink on the river bank while searching
out a good spot for this cache. When we placed the cache, we came
across very large moose tracks on the trail.
Bring a lunch and your camera, we
feel it is worth the trip.
