Worldwide Hot Springs
The other day my wife said "lets go to a hot springs", so I said I'd look one
up on the internet and we would go. Sure enough I found a list of hot springs complete with names and ratings.
However while ratings and links are nice it doesn't answer the question. "What's close?" Not to mention the better the hot springs the less likely that they would even tell you where it's at.
The goal here is to find a hot springs and check it out. The springs can be anywhere in the world. Post a photo, The location, your own personal
review of the springs and of course the coordinates. You don't have to be in the photo, but your GPS should. One finder per hot springs.
NOTE: Many Thanks to Renegade Knight for allowing Team Bamageek to adopt this locationless cache. The rules for the cache will remain the same, except that as of June 21, 2004, we are adding the requirement that you must post the city/state or the city/country that is closest to the hot spring location (if located in a park, please indicate the name of the park) in your log description. Also, the usual locationless rules apply....a hot spring can only be logged once, and a cacher can only log one hot spring. The hot springs logged prior to the above date are grandfathered from this requirement. Hope that you enjoy hunting a hot spring near you!
February 2005 update: To clarify the cache requirements, in order to log this cache, you must post a picture of the actual hot spring and have at least one shot that shows your GPS and the hot spring together in the same picture. As of this date (2/10/05), logs not meeting this requirement will be deleted.
