This is my first attempt at hiding a cache, so any input is greatly
appreciated.
Take I-40 to the Tirejas exit and go North on 14. Turn left onto
the road up to Sandia Crest. You'll park at the first area after
the ski area; it's called Basalm Glade. This area requires a $3
parking fee for the day. Don't worry, your pass is good all day at
any location in the Sandias. So look for some more caches!
Proceed down the path to N35 12.785, W106 24.356. This is the
overlook. Once there, the cache is approximately 150 feet away.
Cache contains Mardi Gras Beads, Simpson's Stickers, Atari
Sticker, Golf Tees, Off Road Vehicle from JunkYard Wars, Key Chain,
Pins from Chili's, and a Hotwheels car.
If any of my coordinates are off, please let me know. I had some
trouble getting more than a 22 feet accuracy with my Etrex Legend
in the trees.
