This is within the Nathan Hale State Forest in Coventry, CT. This cache is contained within a ammo can and contains a koosh, hand wipes, girls compact, M & M Guy, Small Sail Boat, snap cards, paratrooper, a Maine Stress Lobster from the Rockland, ME lobster festival, a John Tesh CD and earplugs to listen to it with, hand warmer, a box of crayola markers, a colman emergency poncho, a shoe mitt, a rubber salamander, a Scouting Unlimited Patch, a toy snake, a toy flute, and marbles.
The parking area for this is located at N41 45.840 W72 20.860. This is located a short distance from the Nathan Hale Homestead. You will be walking along a grass road. There are a large amount of chess nuts, so don’t go barefoot.
WARNING: During September to December, this is a permit required hunting area. You may wish to go into the forest wearing florissant orange.
