In Acadia National Park. Some climbing over rocks involved. Terrain is very rugged.
This virtual cache is located in one of my most favorite spots in all of New England. You'll need to enter Acadia National Park either by paying and driving through the entrance station, or hiking or biking in.
There is a trail that will lead you (safely) most of the way to the cache. To get to the cache itself youll need to scrabble around on the rocks a bit.
Theres a plaque attached to the rock at the geocache location. Email me the name on the plaque to verify youve found it.
This area is spectacular, but it can be tricky. Wear hiking shoes, check the weather and tides, and dont go anywhere you dont feel comfortable. The cache is easy to find without taking any risks. Dont suffer the same fate as the person on the plaque. You'll find out what I mean when you find it. :-)
