Geocache Description:

This two-stage multi-cache is located at a scenic overlook high on the bluff above Lake Michigan. A popular stop for those traveling along the lakeshore, this is also a good place to spot the occasional Bald Eagle cruising along the bluff.

Due to the popularity of this location, especially during the summer months, stealth will be needed when retrieving the cache, a small waterproof match container with only a log book and pencil. Proceed to the first stage along the logical man made route. Answer the following questions to determine the coordinates of the cache located at:
N 44 31.EDA, W 086 13.DBC

AB = the total number of metal steps taken to the initial coordinates, minus the product of the number of rest stops on the way to the initial coordinates and the number of metal brackets supporting the benches at the top observation deck.

(Rest stops = mini-platforms placed in the stairs on the way to the top observation deck. Do not count the parking level or the top observation deck.)

C = the total number of metal steps taken to the initial coordinates plus the number of metal brackets supporting the benches on the top observation deck, divided by the sum of the number of steps between the 1st and 2nd rest stop and the 3rd and 4th rest stop.

D = B + C

E = (B x 2) - D
