Geocache Description:

Strap on your thinking caps, campers. It's gonna be a bumpy ride!

The Thinker’s Cache With the success of last year's still active Hard as PI, the Mrs. and I had been toying with the idea of a truly sadistic cache. Not hard on the feet and body, but truly taxing on the brain and synapse. The hiding places are not all that difficult, but the clues to find the coordinates should have you scratching you head for quite a while. This is a standard multi-stage Geocache. The first coordinates listed above are for the first container and are straight-forward "go-and-find-it" coordinates. The clues for the second location are in the first box, the clues for the third location are in the second box, and the clues for the last location are in the third box. Not only does this mutli-stage cache provide some real cryptic posers, but also allows you the rare opportunity to bag some other caches in each of the areas. Each of the first three of the four stages of this cache are near other caches, but not so near as to cause the other caches to feel their personal space invaded. Essentially, you could park at the same locations and hike to either of the caches - making it a two for one deal at each of the first three stages. Even if you've been to the nearby caches, I would hope that the experience of returning to parks is one that you would enjoy. With that in mind, I would appreciate that if you do find those other caches while searching for this one, please do not mention the fact that they were found in conjunction. Any spoilers listed as either photos or in the logs (even encrypted ones) will be deleted. That's the only way this will stay a level five cache. I won't be giving out hints or help other than to determine if a marker is indeed still in the same location. Logging: Please only log the final stage as a “found it.” If you are working on the initial three stages and want to inform others of your progress, please use “post a note.” A last word of warning: I would expect this to be a multi-day cache. The caches are spread around Plainfield and the surrounding communities but are quite distant from each other (read "miles").
An error has been detected. In the clue found in the second box, the encrypted word "size" should be "six". Also, I used the same clue for the parking coordinates as for the cache box coordinates. They are BOTH for the cache box. So you don't have parking coordinates for stage 3. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Good luck!
