Silvercreek Trail Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

J.A.R.S.: I went by today to check on the cache. The cache is in fact missing. Thanks stcanut for the note on the Silvercreek Trail cache. Good thing there were no travelbugs in the box.

Actually I'm amazed that it's lastest as long as it has considering how close it is to the trail and the snow prints that lead to the hiding spot. I'm going to archive Silvercreek Trail. It's had a good run. Maybe someone else will hide a cache in the area.

Geocache Description:

A cache-and-run type of geocache. Should be a quick find, just a few feet from the parking lot. Good size for most travelbugs.

This was once a letterbox hybrid but on August 16 I discovered that the letterbox was missing. I won't be replacing the LB. If you're interested in LBs in the Guelph area do a search for Ontario, Canada letterboxes at http://www.letterboxing.org

Parking:
3 parking options.
Driving north on Edinburgh, just before the pedestrian lights:
Option 1) turn right into the park N43 32.057 W80 15.046 (sorry, closed for the winter)
Option 1a) you might be able to park in the visitor parking at the apartment building that's right next to the option 1 parking lot
Option 2) turn left onto Manor Park Crescent
Option 3) drive over river, turn right into park just before Wellington Road.

Geocache dimensions: 10" long x 6" wide x 4" deep
Available year-round (but more difficult in the snow, path won't be plowed)
Less than 200 metres from car to cache
