Located near the west coast village of Zeballos, on a steep mountain side over looking the town.
Named after a local resident who talked about climbing this hill for years and finally did. He has since passed away and so this place bears his name. Start at the Zeballos Hotel and drive out on the town road, at the top of the hill is a place to park (N 49* 59.378 W 126* 50.705). Look up, way up that's where you're going follow the ribbons the trail is steep and not well marked. The first section is on private land, use at your own risk. Allow one hour at least to get up. Take a lunch and enjoy the view. G.P.S was accurate to 10 meters.
