Geocache Description:

This Geocache is to find big Radio Telescopes all over the World.

The one I use as Reference can be turned into different directions - also for this cache it is NOT necessary that the Telescope can be turned. It only has to have a Reflector Diameter bigger than 50 meter.

The normal Rules for Locationless Caches apply:
- NO Internet Finds or old vacation Fotos - show a Picture WITH the GPSr to prove that
- Only 1 Log per Telescope
- Only 1 Log per Cacher (diferent finds can be made as Notes...)

Please give some Informations about the Telescope youre Logging....

But now more about this one:

The Effelsberg Radio Telescope in Germany
- one of the two largest fuklly steerable parabolic antennas in the World!
- Reflector Diameter 100m
- Azimuth Range 480°
- Elevation Movement from 7° to 94°
