Before you head out for this puzzle, you need to discover the caching name of the cacher behind the ODS project. Write it down. Now go to the posted coordinates. You should be in the immediate vicinity of the Park Sign. Note the name of the man who the park honors.

With the two names written down…here is your formula to solve this simple simple puzzle.

1) Count the number of letters in the caching name of the ODS creator. This the value “X”.

2) Next, take the name of the park honoree. Using a simple number substitution cipher (A=1, Z=26) assign numerical values to all of the letters in the man’s name. Add all numerals together to get “Y”.

Your new North coordinate is 29° 36.(415 +”X”).

Your new West coordinate is 095° 42.(888+”Y”)

That’s it. The final coordinates are for a small camoed coffee can. Take a brisk hike thru this virtually unused park to claim your seed from the seedpod. There is no obligation to participate. Just sign the log if that's as far as you want to go. This small seedpod contains a few trade items.

Congratulations to PiMan314 on FTF!!!
