This is the Beantown-Sunshine Connection placed by Cachebandits who were visiting the Seminole area on vacation from Boston, MA October 2002. Feel free to place anything you would like to travel to the chilly climates of the Northeast!
This is simply a tribute to the wonderful adventures we incurred due to other caches in the area. We decided to contribute one to give props to all the other FL caches!This cache is about the size of a one gallon jug. This was placed in Heritage Park which is connected to the Botanical Gardens in Seminole, FL. Since we visited a bunch of other caches in the area, we wanted to place this cache in a new park, even though we have to agree that Boca Ciega is the freshest park around in our opinion! Regardless, enjoy a nice walk to this cache, learning some history about the area and check out the gorgeeous botanical gardens nearby while you get to pad your stats! Since bushwhacking in the Northeast really comes to be part of a geocachers life, and realizing that that aspect of this game is virtually non-existent in the land of snakes, spiders, gators and scorpions, we decided to make this one rather easy. Try to find this one without the clue, as it shouldn't be that hard to find, although we did place this cache around the 6pm area and no one was around. This may prove to be more difficult if the park is inhabiting visitors as we don't want the cache location to be revealed! So please be careful!! Watch out for gators in the freshwater stream, cause they like to eat fresh meat!
