Geocache Description:

I recently (05-17-07) got some new coordinates for the actual location they are N47 09.100 W121 55.192 Reception is spotty so you might use both. Also during spring and summer months the view of the dam will most likely be obstructed by the overgrowth however stand with the cache to your back and look out and towards the left through the brush and you might get a glimpse of the dam

The parking area for the cache is located at Mud Mt. Dam at coords N47 08.704 by W121 56.036 along the rim trail just follow the trail. When you see a DANGER sign bear left at the fork and keep on hiking till N47 09.139 W121 55.601 where you will bear N/NE and continue on the rim trail. after a succesion of boardwalks you know you're on the right track. you will come to an intersection and will go left down the road until you come to a little shed that is a basically a fixed porta-potty from the shed follow the trail. Cache is an olive drab Ammo Can, original contents are as follows
