On an Island in Marin County. Little bit of a hill. Good place for
a picnic. Watch out for poison oak.
Island 1 is the first of a series of island caches. The cache is in
a Tupperware container. You may have to crawl through some
shrubbery. There is a good way to get in without poison oak. There
are many fun things inside the cache. You’ll have to find it
to find out what it contains. Don’t forget to write in the
pink fuzzy book.
Enjoy!!

January 9 by Tuvadog (14 found) Deserted Island on this cold overcast Saturday. Easy and fun for the kids. Watch out for bare poison oak branches around here!

September 19, 2009 by 4W (226 found) Found it on a stroll late one evening. A couple of deer were hanging around in the cache area, but I don't think they were caching . Got stung by some kind of nasty insect on the way out, but we were probably 60 yards from the cache by then, so it was probably just bad luck. Neat little island. TFTC!

August 30, 2009 by brianweeks (4186 found) On a caching run in San Rafael and Terra Linda with my Mom today. I made it uphill a bit faster and saw it on approach. No muggles in this area. Glad to find this older cache still going strong! Fun to read logs from 2001! TNSL. Left two signature frogs and a sparkly lizard. Left better camo'd than found, a little less obvious; wanted to help keep this one going! TFTC!
