The cache is located among rocks along a hiking trail in northern NJ. It is not far from an old landmark that was demolished in 1988.
The cache is a ammo container. It contains several toys, some sports stuff, the logbook (with pens and a pencil), and some other goodies. To find the cache you will have to walk less then a mile into the woods from a parking area off of the main road. The trails leading to the cache are marked. For those of you who took pictures, with the cache camera, the last time you visited the cache - I had them developed and placed them back in the cache - so if you want them, you will have to return to the location. You are welcome to take your pictures home with you - or leave them for others to see who was there.
There are “No Trespassing” – “Permit required” signs all over the area. Go here for info http://www.nynjtc.org/trails/peqpermit.html I have had a permit for the last two years and have never encountered a ranger but I know they patrol the area.
