Green Achers: This cache has been verified MIA. Likely, it was collected during some spring cleaning by the city. I'm really not sure how they got this one but missed Ron's which is not far away.

Anyway, since this cache has out lived it's purpose, it's not worth replacing. This cache will hold title to the First Approved Manteca Cache and Ron's will be the First Cache Stashed in Manteca. [We're still wondering how both of these first's took place a few feet appart since neither cacher knew about the others plans!]

Geocache Description:

This is one of four Geocaches planted in Manteca this weekend. The reason 4 caches planted on the same weekend? Because there where no caches here. This cache has been placed for new Geocachers! Seasoned cachers are also welcome (no complaints about easy please).

In Manteca (which means Fat or Lard), all parks meet the following description:
Able to collect run off storm water;
Surrounded by houses;
No cover allowed;
New Trees;
No shrubs;
Lots of Police looking for suspicious activities (like Goecaching).

Fat City is placed down the bike path and not far from the little skate park. Lots of people around getting in shape here. The cache is an altoids box that was painted camo and placed in cover. It is in plain view from the correct location. Please tread lightly as you don't need to hurt the plants.

When planted, Fat City contained:
A Geonote;
A log sheet (for your name and date of find only);
$5 Disappointment;
$1 Gold Liberty (not real gold folks);
A New York Quarter;
A dime;
A nickle;
A penny;
and a Smooth Stone.

Please bring your own pen as I forgot to bring a golf pencil. I hope you enjoy Manteca's first Geocache [which isn't this one] and you'll be successful at planting another in Fat City.

[Foot Note... This cache was planted rather close to another by blind change. The other cache was planted two days prior and posted a day after this cache was placed. Since this cache is so basic, it will most likely be archived in the near future.]

[Note: The season's have been kind to this cache and made it more difficult to find. I'm bumping up the rating until it starts getting found again.
