Located on the shore of Silver Lake. No hiking involved. Parking right at the site. Park closes at 10PM.
Due to the amount of DNFs, I have changed the difficulty level from a 2 to a 3.
The cache container is a pill bottle just a bit larger than a 35mm film container and only has a log book w/o trade items. You will need your own pen or pencil.
Please be aware of how the cache is hidden, so that it can be replaced the same way. With a little extra effort this can be accomplished. If you experience any problems, please let me know.
Good luck and have fun. There is a roller skating rink, boat ramp and swimming close by, so be sure to bring the kids.
Stay off of the R/R track, you might get hit by a freight train.
NOTE!!!! PLEASE BE RESPECTFUL OF THE HISTORICAL STRUCTURES AT THIS SITE. IT IS NOT NECESSARY TO DO ANYTHING MORE THAN LIGHTLY TOUCH THESE STRUCTURES AND THAT MAY OR MAY NOT BENEFIT IN FINDING THIS CACHE. THIS CACHE IS ABOVE GROUND.
