Parking for this cache can be found at this location N48' 45.891 E009' 08.094. From the parking area it's only a short 10 minute walk,(dogs, baby strollers etc.) are all welcome in this area. The easy trail takes you to a nice veiw of Stuttgart..*Note it may be busy with people walking in this area so be carefull when retreiving the cache.
Ursprunglich 471,00m uber NN heute 511,20m uber NN. Erhohung um 40,20m 1953-57 durch Aufschuttung von 15 million Kubikmeter.
Trummerschutt aus der in 53 Luftangriffen im 2. Weltkrieg zu 45% zerstorten Stad Stuttgart.
Originally 471.00 meters over sea level however today it is 511.20 meters over sea level. The difference in elevation of 40.20 meters between 1953-1957 is due to 15 million cubic meters of rubble/fill deposited here.
Rubble resulted from 53 air attacks in two world wars & destroyed 45% of the city of Stuttgart.
