Solitree - A lone tree!
This cache is NOT at the above co-ords. In order to find the
location you will need to solve the following puzzle.
A famous hunter / gatherer (you), treasure finder, and
geocacher, has, after weeks of searching in a dangerous nature
reserve, stumbled upon the legendary lone tree of King Inja! At the
base of the tree is a pit, which rumor has it is trapped, but
contains all of the Kings gold and valuables... You carefully lower
yourself into the pit and find only a scratching on the wall, but
no treasure. The scrathing say the following:
The real treasure is located at
3662 45459 385 96322 5519 385 26393198 3955
Once you have deciphered the clue above, apply the following
formula. Let [1,1] be the first letter of the first word and [3,5]
be the fifth letter of the third word converted as followes A=1,
B=2, C=3 etc...
S26 AB.CDE and E27 FG.HIJ
where
AB = [3,1] - [1,2]
CDE = ([7,7] * 2 * [4,2]) + [2,4] + 3
FG = (([1,4] + 1) / 2) * ([5,1] / 2)
HIJ = ([6,2] * [2,3] * [7,8]) - 1
There is a small entrance fee to get into the place and you
should make a day of the trip. You should be able to get to the
cache using a normal car (provided it has a reasonable clearance),
but a 4x4 or 2x4 will make it a lot easier.
