The cache contains a log book, and pen, and a bunch of Take and Make a Cache Kits. This is a change from what this cache used to be. This time around, we are providing everything it takes to start your own cache except the cache container itself (well, we aren't providing the trade items either). The kits come with various sized log books for various sized caches. Also, this time around, these are treated as trade items. If you want a kit, leave a trade item. Periodically, we'll collect up any existing trade items and place a cache with the items we take, and in return replace them with new kits. Enjoy!
To find the cache, locate the plaque that the coordinates above point to. On the plaque are two dates. Subtract the earlier date from the later date. Take the result and divide by five. This is the heading to the cache (use magnetic north). Take the last digit of the earlier year, multiply it by 10. Add to that the last digit of the later year. This is how many feet to the cache. Project a waypoint using the heading and distance you just calculated.
