I wan't to be like my daddy!
The above co-ords are NOT the co-ords of the cache. To find this
cache, you will need to find two other henges, namely Stonehenge
and the Dromberg Stone Circle. You will need the co-ords for both
of them as well as the distance between them to solve this cache.
Stonehenge N AB CD.EFG W HI JK.LMN (referred as S[AB] or
S[HI])
Dromberg N AB CD.EFG W HI JK.LMN (referred as D[AB] or D[HI])
The distance between them is DD
Now the final location of the cache is
S 25 AB.CDE E 27 FG.HIJ
where
AB = S[JK] - 4
CDE = DD + 51
FG = D[CD] + 22
HIJ = D[EFG] - D[LMN] + 21
Have fun...
NB: Due to a slight altercation with one cacher please note :
All the walkers must obtain a slip from reception at The Ring
Oxwagon Lodge. They should leave their cars at The Ring and walk up
from here. The slip can be produced, if asked, to show that you/the
walker did register with us first, and then no problems or
misunderstandings

December 30, 2009 by JPMZA (126 found) #111 I found this very special cache at 14:20 today. I am a bit confused by the logs as to exactly which cache I found - It would seem that there is one fixed by Besem as well as one by iPajero. I found a round brown plastic container with a new log sheet bearing iPajero's name at the top.In any event I enjoyed the short walk (only about 120 metres) up from the Guest House. I think man has always had a fascination with rocks placed upright by other tribes ages ago. I at least have such a fascination with Stone Henge in the UK and a visit to that site is high up on my bucket list. I was therefore looking forward to finding this cache with its reference to two other stone henges. I spent quite a few frustrating minutes trying to locate the cache. Once I was successful I spent some quiet time at the site contemplating days gone by and also enjoying the breathtaking view over the Hartbeespoortdam area. This cache is definitely worth a visit for either of these reasons. One can also continue along the hiking trail and enjoy experiencing some time in this picturesque area. Out: Small Angel In: GBP1 coin (in honour of Stone Henge), R5 key ring (from days gone by), silver fairy dust (in honour of the cache owner who brought me here) SL TFTC

December 15, 2009 by besem (1029 found) [#1002] @15:45I recalculated the coordinates after reading Cabey's comment on which Dombeg coordinates to use. Even then there was still some error, and we pretty much only found the cache because its contents was strewn about by what I suspect to be baboons. We replaced the container and the logsheet and hid the cache in the closest available hiding place. The new container is too small to contain the old (soggy) logbook, so I simply pushed in the logbook next to the container. There are as such no pen left in the cache.

November 8, 2009 by besem (1029 found) There were two candidates for aspiring stonehenge - one 80m from my calculated coordinates, and the other 250m - but a search in the area of both didn't turn up anything. Too bad - I was looking forward to finding this cache!
