It is amazing how slow life is here in the Platteland... I saw people having picnics on the grass... Everybody that walks the pavements looks relaxed, and in no hurry to get where ever they are heading... Folk at the sidewalk cafe are watching the world go by in slow motion... Even the taxis stops at the stop streets...Us City-slickers are always in one hell of a hurry, there is just no time to waste, go here, go there, do this, be there, pick up the kids, shopping mall craziness, traffic jams, yell at the taxi that just cut me off, gobble McDonalds down while on a important phone call, deadlines and work pressure, speed through the traffic, no time, hurry, hurry, hurry... Who's got it right here? There should be a law against the City madness... Or make it compulsory that all the City-folk visit places like Franchhoek every now and again... I caught myself 'speeding' form clue to clue at a snails-pace, and enjoying every moment of it... I found the cache easily after doing all the maths... But for me the real treasure lied in the relaxed atmosphere of this Town... Thumbs up to Franchhoek...

Checked up on this cache today and did indeed discover that the cache was gone - replaced it. Do think that the previous searcher must have been in the wrong area though, as the final is out in the countryside and there is absolutely no rubbish dumped any where close to this vicinity!

We found the final spot that corresponded to the pictures in the logs, but couldn't find the cache - searched everywhere for about 30min. The whole area is strewn with rubbish - people seem to be dumping stuff there.
