This cache is the next in the series: Corsers, Angela, Horseshoe, Dudley/Shirley, Waimairi/Okeover. We are nearing the end of this series.
The cache is a 400ml camo-painted snap-lock type container with GPS in black onthe lid. When hidden it contained:
Glow in the dark smileys
Bracelet from the Philippines
Log book, pencil and sharpener.
If you park at the gate: S43 30.926 E172 32.801 then you will need to walk about 240 metres in an Easterly direction.
Look for a large gnarled tree, close to the stream, in a clearing in the shrubbery. (S43 31.013 E172 32 910) The cache is NOW hidden about 10 metres South East of this tree.
The cache is buried at the root of a small straggly tree that is growing sideways rather than upright. There are two such trees - the cache is at the base of the lower of the two trees.
Please make sure you hide it thoroughly as the area is well used by children 'mountain biking' along the stream bed!
