"Aren't the Evens Odd?" Traditional Geocache

Team Philsey: This cache has finally been nabbed. I can't believe that it lasted so long in this location. For those who found it recently, believe me when I tell you that there were no trails in the area of the cache other than the "main" trail when it was first placed.

This area is just criss-crossed with new trails. Anyway, "Aren't the Evens Odd?" has finally bit the dust. I'm just glad that so many new geocachers were able to "cut their teeth" on this one.

Geocache Description:

This cache is located in the Jordan Creek Parkway, Whitehall Township, Lehigh County. This is a public park open to humans and dogs. It is requested that dogs stay on their leashes. (Humans can roam freely.) You will enjoy a ½ mile stroll along the banks of the Jordan Creek before climbing a hill to the cache site. (Weak pedalers will have to push their bikes.)

The cache is a 30 caliber ammunition box, so keep in mind that only smaller sized items should be placed inside. It is located approximately 50 feet off of a worn trail, so there is no need to do a lot of bushwacking.

The "cache and dash" types can actually park within 300 feet of the cache if they do their homework. Everyone else can park at 40° 37.90'N 75° 29.38' W. Just take Mickley Road toward the Jordan Creek and turn onto the small road immediately adjacent to the creek.

Please note in the log book any unusual birds, mammals, insects or plants that you see on your search.
