The cordinates given are for the Turner Sculpture Gallery in Onley, Virginia. Go to www.turnersculpture.com to learn more about William and David Turner and their wonderful bronzes. Note: I am not personnally connected with them or the gallery; I just really like and enjoy their bronzes.
Most of their work is displayed in the Onley Gallery (free to visit). If you ever get the chance, please visit the gallery...you'll be glad that you did.
There are more than 50 large public commissions throughout the US in addition to the other item thatb they have created.
To claim a find:
1. Locate a Turner bronze sculpture (not at the Onley Gallery)
2. Post the name of the Turner bronze
3. Post the location and coordinates of the bronze
4. Post a picture of you (with your GPS) at the sculpture
Rules:
1. Each bronze may only posted once
2. Only one bronze per geocacher
3. Only Turner bronzes are allowed (Post a picture of the plaque showing that it is a Turner Sculpture)
Posts must contain all requirements and follow all rules or they will be deleted.
