At the intersection of Rocky Peak Fire Road and the Hummingbird Trail. A small tan colored container. First person please bring a short pencil.
Uphill all the way. Downhill all the way back to the car. Park at the Simi freeway and Rocky Peak road. The trailhead is just north of the overpass.
---"Are we there yet?"----
We heard this familiar question repeatedly as we headed up to vertigo cache on the very top of Rocky Peak. So we decided to add one more cache along the way.
Don't leave the road until you reach the Hummingbird trail marker and the bench. A little further up the road we saw a Bobcat in the rocky cliffs, so they are around the area.
We forgot to bring a pencil. It will have to be a short one, in order to fit in the smallish container.
