Mmmmm, Geocache. Aaaaggahhaagah Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

MadMin: I attempted to contact the owner of Mmmmm, Geocache. Aaaaggahhaagah to find out about the status of this cache on August 1, 2007. I have received no response from the owner on the cache page or via email. Because of that I'm afraid I have to archive this cache.

I will be more than happy to review this cache again and (hopefully) reinstate it once you have corrected any issues with the cache. please contact me via ma.reviewer@gmail.com to do so.

Please note that unarchiving a cache page places it through the same review process as a newly proposed cache, using the cache placement guidelines currently in effect.

Geocache Description:

A Christmastime Simpsons Swag Loaded Geocache planted at Veasey Park in Groveland just for Doug Screamapillar, by Christine, Jessica and Geoffrey Screamapillar. Once Doug locates the cache it is open for the rest of the world to enjoy, and we hope you do

Located in the woods at Veasey Park, Groveland, MA, there is ample parking up in the lot up the driveway.

Veasey Park is a small town property with a great history. I believe that originally the Sisters of Mercy ran a home or a camp of some sorts for handicapped kids but the property fell out of use. The town of Groveland residents purchased the land, commonly known as Nun's Hill, and now the property is used for recreation (hiking, sledding) and the buildings for the Council of Aging and summer camp.

We couldn't afford to lavish Doug with tons of gifts this year, so the kids and I decided a cache would be the best gift and one that will just keep on giving.

Honoring both our hobby of caching and Doug's hero, Homer Simpson, the cache is chock full o'Simpsons related trinkets and doo-dads.Remember -- you don't have to place officially licensed Simpsons Swag in the cache, as long as it is in the "Spirit of Springfield." For instance, gift certificates for donuts, saxaphone pins, baby pacifiers (unused, please!) would all be in the spirit of the cache. If you are a Simpsons Fan, you'll be clever enough to think of great stuff to place inside.

Currently, the "Mmmmm, Geocache. Aaaaggahhaagah" cache hosts:

**Simpsons Pogs from early 1990
**Several Simpsons Character Postcards
**A "Sam Adams" pewter bottle opener
**Simpsons Themed Refrigerator Magnets
**Homer "D'OHs" Cookies (would the first guest after Doug kindly take those, please? I don't want them to stay in the cache long because they'll get stale, and critters may smell them and eat the cache. That would be bad)
**Guestbook, pen, pencil and 'round the world pencil sharpener

Be sure to bring your sled if there is snow, Nun's Hill is a wicked great place to sled...

And in the summer, bring the bug spray and watch for ticks. Happy Caching!
