Golf-2 or G-2 as the sign says is an area of the Minnehaha FWA (Fish and Wildlife Area) in Sullivan County, Indiana. It is state-owned land and you're totally allowed to be on it. DO NOT GO ON THE EAST SIDE OF THE ROAD - THAT SIDE IS PRIVATE PROPERTY AND CLEARLY MARKED AS SUCH.
The cache is hidden about 6 feet off the ground in the split of a tree trunk. The cache area is where there are a lot of small lakes and ponds. The area is rampant with deer so if you go near dusk, you'll likely see some, we did when we hid the cache. My daughter came along to help hide this one.
This is my kind of cache to both hide and find! It's a challenge, only because of the terrain in the area. You don't need anything special to get to it, once you're there you won't have a problem seeing the cache, the tough part is getting to it and that is by design. The cache has:
a squirt gun, rubber toy super ball and super basketball, a key clip, a matchbox car and a WheresGeorge.com dollar (if you take it, please log it at the site and place in another cache).
