The theme of this cache is RHYMING.
It may or may not have good TIMING.

Here's your chance to show your stuff.
Pick a topic. (None are tough.)
Write a poem and do your best
To make it funnier than all the rest.

Cache Guidelines:

  1. Since the cache has gone missing AGAIN, I've converted this cache to a virtual type cache.
  2. You get to select any topic you wish for your poem.
  3. Your on-line log MUST include a poem with a MINIMUM of FOUR lines. At least TWO of the lines must rhyme. It is legal for someone else to write the poem for you, but it must be original. No duplicates and no plagiarism allowed.
  4. You MUST send me an email saying what was the original cache hidden under. That is, what is the likely hiding place at the posted coordinates? (This is a geocaching requirement for virtual caches.)
  5. Due to geocaching laws, "Found It" logs that fail to meet these criteria will be deleted.

Here's an example of a dumb little verse that fills the requirements.
The TOPIC is: Breakfast.

Roses are red,
Violets are purple.
On my waffles,
I like maple surple.

You should be able to drive to within a few feet of the cache location so you don't even need to get out of your car while you get the answer to the question and compose your poem.

We were up here in the area and realized that this virtual one was nearby so we decide to do our poem. Here it is.

We decided we had the will.
So we came up and paid a bill.
So we thought we would do some caching,
So we had the time to run some errands.

I went to Provo looking for treasure.
Cachers down here think hides in pine trees are clever.
My hand are sticky and arms are scratched up.
Now every time I see a pine tree a want to burn it up.

It's a beautiful day to head south
and these words are out of my mouth;
a poet I am not,
of rhyming I know squat.
A sunny day for Columbus,
the clouds above aren't cumulonimbus.
Dr. Seuss could do this much better I'm sure,
gotta love caching that's in nature - that's pure.

The Day After An Event

I'd planned to go caching today
While the footprints at caches are visible.
But it's raining outside
And the puddles are wide.
If I go I'll most surely be mizzable.

We drove from Albuquerque to Yellowstone. To break up the monotony, we decided to do mostly Virtual caches along the way. Thanks a bunch for putting this Virtual together for us to enjoy.
